The Martain

After half reading The Martin . Well it was overall very interesting and almost to a T what a space opera is. This grandiose mission and a relatable scary hardship that one man or person has to go tho. When thinking of Star wars or Star Trek. You mainly think that the villain is this alien species or this Imperial empire and or a government. When it comes to what I read from the martain its more like a survival story . A man stranded and forced to figure out a way to survive . No less in space. So its hard to think of it as a space opera  I would call it a survival book based in space. Since it does not have any of the grandness of let say Battle Star Galactica. or any other space based opera.
